The 20,000 Days Delirium Project team, has been doing a lot of work to raise awareness of Delirium and make Delirium, as a diagnosis more prominent on the wards. The team have now developed a process and pathway for people who have delirium, which includes using the CAM (Confusion Assessment Measure) tool and an intervention package. The results have been positive with better outcomes for patients diagnosed with Delirium, more involvement from the families and a better understanding of Delirium from members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The Delirium Project Team includes: Carol Slade, Glenys Best, Iris Blowers, Johanna O’Leary, Rio Jodache, Connie Mahu, Lauren Wang, Maureenah Elone, Rosie Whittington, Anna Anderson, Prem Kumar and Danni Farrell
