Paresh is a practicing GP, ACT Regional Medical Director for Ochre Health, an organisation that operates a number of integrated care clinics and Regional Clinical Director with National Home Doctor Service, an after-hours primary care provider.
He holds Honorary Associate Professor appointments at University of Canberra and Australian National University. He is also appointed to a number of senior leadership roles including member of the National Expert Committee on Quality Care, Chair of Clinical Review Committee at the The Canberra Hospital, member of ACT Clinical Council and Board Member of the Heart Foundation (ACT).
He serves on the Guidelines Education and Training Committee for the Federal Government’s Healthcare Homes implementation, Primary Care Committee of Australian Commission for Quality and Safety, and the Quality and Safety Board Advisory Committee of the National Digital Health Agency. He is on the Faculty for Improvement Foundation Australia and Ko Awatea.
Above all he has a passion for clinical leadership, quality and patient safety improvement centred around a vision of patient centred medicine as the golden thread that unites all his interests.
