Ko Awatea and Counties Manukau Health (CM Health) are proud to be holding our inaugural Research Week next week! It is a week that is designed to be a celebration of all of the great health-related research that is being conducted, and will include research presentations, workshops and posters*.
See it live!
Our biggest ever APAC Forum is fast approaching! Join over 2,000 health leaders this September in Sydney.
With over 40 presentations taking place, there is bound to be something for everyone; research topics cover a range of themes including:
- surgical and ambulatory;
- women’s health;
- child and youth health and more.
The workshops* provided will teach valuable research skills such as how to write a journal article, design your own research projects, analyse data, and the best ways to share your research with the world.
Just one of the presentations on offer is one given by CM Health’s chief medical officer, Gloria Johnson on quality improvement (QI) and research. Her talk, taking place on Tuesday 14 June, discusses reasons why QI projects can benefit from being underpinned by some of the same ethical principles that apply to research in healthcare.
You will not want to miss out on this informative and educational week, so have a look at the details provided below and come along to the presentations you think you will get the most out of!
Ko Awatea Centre,
Monday 13 June to Thursday 16 June
*While all presentations are open to everyone, you must be an employee of Counties Manukau Health in order to attend the workshops. Posters will be displayed for you to view, but we are unable to accept any new submissions.
