Implementing new food choices can often be a difficult task, faced with a lot of resistance.
But the Challenge the Cake team powered through this test on Tuesday when they presented a variety of new, healthier food catering options to some of the staff at Ko Awatea.
Challenge the Cake is an initiative encouraging healthier catering options to be made available to staff and visitors at Ko Awatea, introducing healthier food options to indulge in.
Working closely with a local caterer, Challenge the Cake proved that healthy food did not have to be plain, boring or unaffordable, with fresh new options being enjoyed by all staff participating in our healthy food taste test.
So many ideas
Some of the biggest names in health are coming to APAC Forum in Sydney this September. Are you?
Staff were introduced to each new option and also had the opportunity to suggest changes and choose their preferred options from the selection available.
“Overall, loved the healthier options and very tasty” commented one of the attendees, with others sharing the excitement; “the quantity and variety of food is always very good”.
From the developments of this taste test, Challenge the Cake will start introducing more options to the catering menus at Ko Awatea; these will compliment some of the old favourites and regularly used menu options.
