Ko Awatea are proud to congratulate Clinical Fellows Dr Mataroria Lyndon and Dr Marinus Stowers who both won post graduate scholarships at this year’s Rose Hellaby Awards.
Mataroria and Marinus were two of the three winners of this year’s prestigious postgraduate scholarships of up to $30,000 each for outstanding Māori students undertaking Masters or PhD study in the fields of engineering, mathematics, science, technology or medicine.
This scholarship will contribute towards Mataroria funding his master’s degree in public health at the prestigious American Ivy League university in Boston.
