In partnership with IHI, Ko Awatea facilitated the Innovation Programme last week, 14th & 15th March. Don Goldmann and Andrea Kabcenell were the programme facilitators. Seven organisations were represented. This included a large group from Ko Awatea & CM Health, a group of four from Monash Innovation & Quality, Southern Health, Australia, together with attendees from Department of Health, Victoria, Australia, ACH Group, Australia, Canterbury DHB, and St John’s.
It was a full and fun packed 2 days where lots of learning, interactions and networking took place. Participants learnt how to run an innovation project with all the ingredients for success! You can view some photos of the day here.
Here are a couple of testimonials from participants:
“The days were brilliant. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn new approaches and problem solving techniques to innovation. Participant interaction was useful and offered new perspectives on the development of projects and how to address the challenges that arise. Time provided for individual coaching was well received and most appreciated.”

I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn from the experts- and I was delighted to meet others who have knowledge and expertise in the area that I am hoping to develop. The two days were a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other and I am looking forward to catching up with participants in the follow up Webinars
