Ko Awatea LEARN, an eLeanring system developed by Ko Awatea, recently won second place at the New Zealand eLearnz 2015 Conference.
Ko Awatea’s Digital Services Manager Jason Ranston says the high placing reinforces Ko Awatea’s commitment to excellence in digital at a national level.
“It’s the kind of recognition we’ve been gunning for in terms of putting ourselves up against the high end development agencies, and developing work that competes” Mr Ranston says.
Built with partnerships from eight DHBs, the LEARN system has a user base of 18,000 users and recently achieved the milestone of 1200 learning sessions in a single day.
LEARN is designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ skills in communication, leadership and patient safety.
Other awards finalists included business eLearning and development organisation, Optimism, and pharmacy retail group Green Cross Health.
“We’re going to continue to compete and place ourselves on the national forefront of digital; naturally we are aiming for first next time!” Mr Ranston says.
