Ko Awatea staff are located in several locations, with most at the Middlemore Hospital site. Ko Awatea’s Physical Location is:
Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB)
The administration office and three Centres of Excellence are based at in the Support Building (Building 30). The Ko Awatea Centre of Education and Innovation is Building 54.

375 Botany to Airport via Otara, Middlemore, Mangere every 30 to 60 minutes Monday to Friday only.
575 Botany to Middlemore via Highbrook and Otara every 30 minutes Monday to Friday only.
328 Manukau City to Downtown via Massey Road every 60 minutes Monday to Saturday
The Hospital is well sign posted from the motorways.
Southbound: Princes Street Exit
Northbound: East Tamaki Road Exit
From either direction: Massey Road Exit
Patients may be dropped off or picked up from outside the Main Entrance of the hospital. There are a small number of free short-term parks reserved for this purpose only. Please consider others and remove cars as soon as possible.
Mobility Parking: Spaces are located near most of the entrances around the hospital. Please ensure an authorised mobility parking pass is displayed at all times.
Parking for all other visitors is available in designated paid visitor parking spaces around the Middlemore Campus.
Daily Parking Charges:The first 15 minutes is free. There after it is $3.00 per hour up to a maximum of $15.00 per day.
Between 2.00 pm – 8.00 pm visitors can park for 30 minutes free of charge. The visitor must leave within the 30 minutes otherwise normal rates apply.
Hours of operation: 24 hours per day / 7 days a week
