My name is Mansel Aylward. ‘So what?’ you will say. I agree. I am not really a good blogger. A talker – yes; a blogger – no.
I have had one or two good blogs recently which gave me great relief but an addiction to blogging is to be avoided. It stunts your growth and makes hair grow on the back of your hands. I knew a chap once who blogged so much he went blind and had to have both his hands secured in plaster of Paris casts with whalebone extensions to prevent flexion of his fingers.
Anyway, it won’t be long now before the American Psychiatric Association declares blogging to be a disease (acute, subacute and chronic, relapsing varieties plus pseudo-blogging for malingerers). The first new psychotropic, dopaketamine, serotonergic inverted alpha receptor blog-blocker will then soon hit the market and then we bloggers will all start taking it and just imagine we’re blogging in a psychedelic and comforting cyberspace.
I have blogged so much. I must stop. It’s addicting. I’ll tell you more about me, I think, next time. If there is a next time?
