On Friday 26th, the Ko Awatea Centre was proud to be the venue of the 2015 Minister of Health Volunteer Awards for Auckland based health services, hosted by Associate Minister of Health, Peseta Sam Lou-Iiga, and attended by local MP Kanwaljit Bakshi Singh, and Ministry of Health Chief Medical Officer Dr Don Mackie.
The Awards recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of volunteers to the health and disability sector in New Zealand and highlight the commitment and willingness that individuals and teams of volunteers have demonstrated within New Zealand’s health and disability sector.
The 2015 Minister of Health Volunteer Awards were presented across the country during National Volunteer Week, 21–27 June 2015.
