Eli is passionate about knowledge and document management facilitation, eradicating information silo exposure in order to enable the reusability of data and eliminating enormous waste time people use searching for information. Eli is a knowledge manager, business system analyst and project manager with over 19 years of experience of quality transferable skills gained from a number of organisations, specializing in document and records management systems, collaboration, imaging, portals, intranets, taxonomy and metadata development and email management. Prior to moving to New Zealand, Eli worked for a number of different organisations in Israel, including Netafim – the world’s leading irrigation company, as a Knowledge Management and Portal Director, where he was involved in managing the company’s diverse subsidiaries and knowledge assets around the world. Eli was responsible for laying down the knowledge management strategy, processes, standards and best practices, and managed and led the organizational portal project (intranet). Eli holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management & Information Systems (1994) and a Masters in Business Administration (2000). Eli is bilingual in English and Hebrew.
