Rosie has a background in nursing as well as 12 years’ experience in the health informatics field.
After gaining experience as a clinical advisor on a community software development and implementation project and as a project manager focusing on the alignment of project targets to original business justification, she moved into her current role as a team leader and clinical analyst.
Rosie’s work deals with costing systems, focusing on the relationship between financial and clinical activity, and she is heavily involved with providing data analysis for business case activity, revenue generating activity and efficiency drives. Rosie is proficient at reviewing existing systems to highlight areas of deficiency, and developing specifications and scope for future direction.
Prior to joining Ko Awatea, Rosie worked in the UK in a primary care trust. The arrival of the quality indicators contract for GP practices while she was there encouraged emphasis on data sharing and integration between community sectors, gave Rosie exposure to multiple diverse IT systems.
